One of the biggest questions I get about our products is: "What is the difference between body cream and body butter? I don't know which to choose."
The answer comes down to texture, ingredients, and how your skin feels.
Body Cream is a blend of water and oils—usually made up of about 50–65% water. The water content helps hydrate the skin, while the oils and butters lock that moisture in. Creams are typically lighter in texture, absorb quickly, and are great for everyday use, especially if your skin is normal to slightly dry.
Body Butter, on the other hand, is made with 100% oils and butters—no water. That means it's much thicker and richer, perfect for sealing in moisture and deeply nourishing dry or rough skin. If you have very dry, cracked, or sensitive skin, body butter might be your go-to.
What I Use:
I actually use both body cream and body butter, depending on what my skin needs.
If I haven’t used a body scrub or polish in the shower (which already leaves behind moisturizing oils), I apply body cream.
I use body butter when I want my skin to have that attractive, glistening glow.
